Achievements:

After an all-star football career at KHS, Thomas moved on to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Following in the footsteps of his cousins Shawn Thomas (KHS 1990) and Sloan Thomas (KHS 2000), Thomas burst on the collegiate football scene in 2005 in the Division I-AA semi-final game to catch a touchdown pass as a true freshman. The ESPN television announcer was euphoric that a true freshman could make such a big play in a pressure packed game. Whether running a post, button-hook, or drag across the flat, Thomas has the agility and speed to elude defenders along with the football IQ to be at the right place at the right time to put his team in scoring position. These physical and mental skills should serve Thomas well as he gains more experience throughout his upperclassman years.
