Achievements:

Yates had a stellar career at KHS, including All-District honor able mention his junior year & All-District 1st team his senior year, playing in the All Greater Houston Area Blue Chip All Star game, serving a President of the Bass Club, a member of Who’s Who, winning Best Runway Poise in the Mr. Topkat competition & a being member of the track team. Yates was then recruited to Texas State University to continue his football career where he is majoring in business. Whether containing the outside sweep, stuffing the off tackle run or pinning his ears back on an all out blitz, Yates had the innate toughness to play defensive end. Long hours in the weight room & countless agility drills made him a leader on & off the gridiron, prepared him to compete at the next level & made him a welcome addition to the Bobcat campus in San Marcus.
