Achievements:

After being selected to the All- District team twice, named Who’s Who Among American High School Students for three years, a member of the National Honor Society, and earning National Achievement Scholar Recognition at KHS, Bailey was recruited to Rice. He played running back for four years at Rice, graduating in 2005. He was voted MVP, permanent team captain, & All-American Honorable Mention. During his 2004 season, he ran over 1,000 yards, was twice voted WAC Player of the Week, & ranks fourth in the Rice single-game rushing record, for a gain of 234 yards on 37 carries. He was awarded the George Brown Award, Most Valuable Back & was on the National Dean’s List. Bailey is now a teacher and coach in the Houston area.
