Achievements:

As a starting cornerback for the Bearkats, Hebert had a 109 yard interception return against Klein Forest, was the District 16 5A Defensive MVP, All-Greater Houston, Team Captain, Team MVP, Most Valuable Defensive Back, and was recruited to Rice University. After a red-shirt year in 1997 & splitting time at free safety in 1998, Hebert was WAC Player of the Week several times, Most Valuable Defensive Back and received the Rice Toughest Player Award and multiple all-conference awards as well as serving as Team Captain. He had 10 interceptions and 300 tackles to rank 6th in both categories in the Rice records. After a stint in the NFL with three teams, Hebert is now a teacher at KHS and enjoys website design. He is co-founder of Leadership Camp Texas and Mission Control – a follow up program. He and his wife Melanie, also a KHS alumnus, have one son, Joshua.
